IBL Networking Meeting 2015

A total of 27 agents of Infinity Bulk Logistics gathered for a 4 days IBL Network Meeting and Palm Oil & Lauric Oil Conference (POC 2015) from 1-4 March 2015. The 4 days event consists of 2 days network meeting while the other 2 days were to attend the POC 2014 held in Shangri-la Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The 2-days network meeting was a gathering for all overseas agents from countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Korea, China, Kuwait, Netherlands, Philippines, Uzbekistan. They were enlightened with the latest improvements and technical updates of flexitank, new agents of Infinity, the market trend towards the growth of flexitank, and the marketing strategy to grow the business.

Thereafter the meeting held in Infinity House, all the agents adjourned to the POC 2015 exhibition on 3-4 March 2015. At the first day of the exhibition, the Ministry of Plantations Industries and Commodities Secretary General Datuk Himmat Singh was warmly welcomed by Mr. Teo Guan Kee, the Technical Director of Infinity Bulk Logistics (IBL) when the entourage visited Infinity’s booth.

Throughout the 2-days exhibition, with over 50 countries participating in the event, the team has attended to more than 200 visitors enquiring about our product and services offering. During the exhibition, visitors could also see a miniature heating pad demonstration of how solidified palm oil in a flexitank can be melted using the heating pad.

“This year, we see foresee that with the recent impact of lower Malaysia currency rate and the fluctuation of global crude palm oil (CPO) price, the sales of flexitank would be indirectly affected. However, we are still optimistic about the need of flexitank for palm oil industry as this is an essential and still the cheapest commodity for end users. Therefore, we will continue to sustain and grow the volume of sales to our palm oil customers and provide them with our continuous partnership for their logistics needs.” said, Mr. Teo.

The 4 days Networking and POC 2015 event ended at a high note as agents returned to their respective countries with further knowledge about the business and sales lead from the exhibition. This is the 2nd time IBL organized the networking meeting for its agents since it’s last in year 2012. With the growth of its number of agent from year to year, IBL is deemed to establish a strong global network providing services and solution offerings to our customers throughout the world.
